Rebecca Williams oversees the Harrison School District’s school-based human services department and serves as the liaison for homeless students and their families. In this role, her goal is to eliminate barriers to school enrollment, attendance and academic success for each child.
With more than 25 years of experience in social services, Ms. Williams has a passion to help families become active, giving members of society and break the cycle of homelessness in their lives through education, resources and community collaboration. Prior to joining the district in 2019, Ms. Williams worked as a social worker with the state departments of Human Services in Arkansas and Missouri, both in foster care and developmental disability services.
She holds a master’s degree in Business Administration/Healthcare Management from Western Governors University, and a bachelor’s degree from Oklahoma City’s Southern Nazarene University.
