Trent Brewer - Assistant Principal

T BrewerFormerly the Harrison Middle School counselor, Mr. Trent Brewer was promoted to the building's Assistant Principal for the 2019-20 school year. He works with the students in Grades 5 and 6.

Mr. Brewer was born and raised in Boone County and graduated from Valley Springs High School in 1999. He continued his education by obtaining three more degrees: a Bachelor of Science in Education (2003), a Master of Science in School Counseling (2009) and a Specialist in Education in Educational Leadership (2016). He has a total of 16 years of combined experience in teaching and counseling.

Mr. Brewer has served both the Omaha School District and the Harrison School District in a wide range of experiences. He has taught seventh and eighth grade language arts, been a K-12 counselor, the state reporting coordinator, homeless liaison, ALE coordinator, 504 coordinator, bus driver and cross country coach. Trent has been awarded the Omaha High School Teacher of the Year, recipient of the Harrison School District Founder's Day Award and been honored as the North Central Region Middle School Counselor of the Year. He is excited to continue his professional growth with his leadership role as assistant principal at Harrison Middle School.
