School Based Human Services

About Us

The School-Based Human Services Department aims to eliminate barriers to school enrollment, attendance and academic success for each child.  It operates a variety of programs to help students in and out of the classroom, ensuring all children are connected with the resources they need to be successful.

Grants and Funding

The district is currently applying to extend its current McKinney-Vento Education for Homeless Children and Youth Grant to run for funding years 2023 through 2025. Here is a link to the current grant request and feedback is always welcomed and appreciated.  Please contact Susan Gilley or Rebecca Williams by phone at 870-741-7600 or via e-mail at or or you can submit anonymously on our Public Comment link for all programs.
