Harrison students were recently given the opportunity to take the ACT WorkKeys exam, which focuses on college and career readiness. The WorkKeys assessment measures a student’s soft skills, as well as knowledge of applied mathematics, graphic literacy, and constructing workplace documents such as memorandums and emails. Students who pass the examination will graduate with a National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC). The NCRC is a portable certification with no expiration date, verifying to employers that a student possesses the workplace skills necessary to be successful.
A total of 87 HHS seniors completed the exam, with 65 earning the national credentials. A breakdown of the results are listed below:
2 - Platinum level
12 - Gold level
23 - Silver level
28 - Bronze level
We are proud of our students!
