The Harrison School District Clothing Closet is stocked with clothing, books and other items that have been donated by the community.

Located inside the district Administration Building, the closet primarily assists homeless students and families in transition. However, any Harrison School District student in need is invited to browse the closet for anything that might help them. Items are distributed free of charge.

The closet features a wide and ever-changing inventory serving students of all ages and sizes. We also offer emergency food assistance when supplies are available and after other resources in the community have been exhausted.

Donation Information

Donations are accepted on any day the Administration Building is open. We are always looking for new and gently-worn, school-appropriate clothing, such as shirts, pants, shorts and shoes. We are also seeking seasonal items such as winter coats.

If you would prefer to make a monetary donation, please make checks payable to the Harrison School District and write "Clothing Closet" in the memo field. Checks can be mailed or delivered to 110 S. Cherry Street, Harrison, AR 72601.

Hours of Operation

Monday: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. (closed for lunch from 11-12)

Wednesday: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. (closed for lunch from 11-12)

Friday: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. (closed for lunch from 11-12)

Closed on all days school is not in session.

Please note: The Clothing Closet is staffed by volunteers. As such, hours of operation are subject to change without notice.
