Dyslexia Programs

Currently in the 2023-2024 school year, Harrison School District​ uses the evidenced-based Barton, IMSE Orton-Gillingham, or Phonics First Intervention Program​ in small group intervention to address the deficit areas of students identified as exhibiting the characteristics of dyslexia.

Number of Students Who Received Dyslexia Intervention 

Currently in the 2023-2024​ school year, 89 students​ attending Harrison School District​ are receiving dyslexia intervention services​ from a trained dyslexia interventionist.  

Total Number of Students Identified as Exhibiting the Characteristics of Dyslexia​

Currently in the 2023-2024​ school year, 96 students​ attending Harrison School District are identified as exhibiting the characteristics of dyslexia​.
