Harrison GT Program Receives State Honor

We are proud to announce that Harrison School District was selected by the Arkansas Governor’s Advisory Council for Gifted and Talented Education to receive the Arkansas Act 56 Award for Outstanding Gifted Program of the Year in districts of 1,000 - 3,000 students.  


Program leaders Becca Jackson and Kristin Motley, along with Superintendent Dr. Stewart Pratt and Assistant Superintendent Dr. Lewis Villines, were on hand at the Arkansans for Gifted and Talented Education’s (AGATE) Spring Conference Awards Luncheon in Hot Springs to receive this honor.   


In addition to the recognition, the achievement includes a $3000 cash award for the Harrison GT program.
