Michael Bardwell, president of the Harrison Public Schools Foundation, presented $9,000.00 in education grants to excited and appreciative Harrison teachers today. The Harrison Public Schools Foundation was established to provide financial support for enrichment programs and activities in our school district. The Foundation receives and administers gifts and bequests from the community to benefit the students and teachers in the Harrison Public School District. Interested teachers write grant proposals, which are then reviewed by the Foundation board.

Literacy Feasts – Feeding Young Imaginations with a Book Vending Machine - Tammy Ward – Forest Heights
Battle of the Books - Stephanie Benton and Staci Tucker, Middle School
