Student and Teacher

Harrison schools strives to support students in their endeavors to make well-informed career choices. Our college and career readiness coaches facilitate job shadowing opportunities for interested students whenever possible. Today, HHS junior Aniston Bolton is job shadowing in Rita Hilton's second grade classroom at Forest Heights. This experience allows Aniston to see first hand what a day in the life of an educator is like.

Job shadowing offers extensive benefits for students exploring their possibilities for future careers. In addition to finding out about the roles and responsibilities of different jobs, students also build their communication skills, establish networks, gain confidence, and expand their knowledge of the career choices available.
