Harrison High School is accepting applications for a Title I reading teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. The position will be a full time (1.0 FTE) Title I reading position within Harrison High School. Applicants must possess appropriate Arkansas DESE certification. Previous experience is preferred, but not required.
Harrison High School is seeking an individual who will work in a classroom setting providing reading instruction to adolescent learners.
Additional job requirements include:
1. Meeting AQT requirements
2. Having knowledge of effective interventions for Reading
3. Having knowledge of best practices in teaching Adolescent Literacy.
4. Be able to disaggregate student data to make instructional decisions
5. Effectively engage students in learning
6. Display excellent people skills
7. Monitor student progress using formative assessment
8. Be able to differentiate for a wide variety of abilities in a classroom setting
