Harrison Preschool registration begins tomorrow at 520 East Womack, Harrison, AR.
The Harrison Preschool has a dedicated, caring, and well-trained staff to serve the facility's 7 classrooms of students. In addition to the classroom teachers, Harrison preschool boasts an impressive onsite team including the Harrison Early Childhood Special education department. This includes on-site speech therapy, developmental therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, and school-based mental health therapy.
The preschool facility includes a sensory room - a specially designed spaced that provides a variety of sensory experiences to help students develop and regulate external sensory inputs. There is even a "sensory path" in the hallway. The sensory path serves as a multi-sensory learning and play tool, promoting motor skill development, emotional self-regulation, and cognitive engagement.
A full curriculum is in place for staff to utilize, with a goal of full kindergarten readiness skills for each student.
The campus has two full playgrounds for students and hosts many wonderful activities each year. Students are served breakfast, lunch, and snacks daily.
The Arkansas Better Beginnings program is a state-wide quality rating and improvement system for early care and education programs. It exists to improve the quality of childcare and early childhood education across Arkansas, helping parents find high-quality care and setting expectations for providers.
