Students form teams and return the team sign up form by September 27. Students will meet once per month with their small group during school lunch. Over the next several months students will try to read as many of this year’s Battle of the Books selections as they can. Teams will compete against each other (much like Jeopardy) in the school battle in April or May. The top team will move on to compete against other teams for the grand championship for 2024- 2025. Awards TBD.

HMS is getting geared up for the BATTLE OF THE BOOKS and all students are invited to participate! Students are receiving information about this from their ELA teachers and will be receiving a newsletter explaining how it works (see attached to this post). This is a great way for our students to read, have fun discussing ideas with their peers, and work on team building skills.
