Please help us share a reminder! As the days get shorter and mornings are darker, we need your help to keep our students safe.

Please be extra vigilant when driving during bus pick-up times. Sometimes, students waiting for the bus may forget to stand a safe distance from the road.

Slow down, minimize distractions, and watch carefully for children near bus stops and on their walks to school. A few extra seconds of caution can make all the difference. Thank you!

Celebrate 100 Years of Goblin Athletics!

Get ready, Goblin fans! Harrison High School Athletics is gearing up for a major milestone: the 100th anniversary of the Harrison Golden Goblins!

To properly honor a century of excellence—from 1926 to 2026—we need your help to unearth the rich history of our student-athletes and teams.

We're collecting an archive of photos featuring as many Harrison Goblin athletes as possible, along with team photos. Whether it’s football, basketball, track, golf, baseball, softball, soccer, or any sport sponsored throughout Harrison High School’s history, your pictures are needed!

Please send your digital photos to Evan Cowling at ecowling@hps.k12.ar.us.

Important: To help us catalog these memories, please include the Athlete/Team Name, Sport, and Year(s) in the email subject line.

Help us celebrate the Golden Goblin legacy!

Calling All Goblin Fans!
Did you know that a genuine artifact of American history is proudly displayed in the halls of Harrison Middle School?

This U.S. flag holds a significant place in our nation's history, as it once flew over Mount Vernon, the home of the "Father of our Country," President George Washington.

U.S. Flag
certificate stating: When George Washington took command of the Continental Army in the summer of 1775, the 13 American colonies still considered themselves a part of the British Empire. This was reflected on the first flag to fly over the Continental Army in January, 1776, which featured a small version of the British Union Jack in the upper left corner, against 13 alternating red and white stripes. On July 4, 1776, a year after the American Revolution began, the colonies declared their independence and became the United States. In 1777, the Continental Congress declared the new country would be represented by a flag which retained the stripes, but featured 13 white stars in a blue field. It would be several years later before the new flag was universally adopted, however, a number of variations of the basic stars and stripes theme was used by the American military units throughout the remainder of the Revolutionary War. After Alaska and Hawaii joined the Union, a new flag was required. On August 21, 1959, President Dwight D. Eisenhower issued an order decreeing that the national banner with fifty stars become the official flag of the United States of America.
It's game on this afternoon!

This morning, the entire school community at Forest Heights gave a heartwarming surprise to their counselor, Ms. Black in celebration of her birthday. Staff and students organized an impressive, creative display on the playground with students lined up neatly to form the number 50! When she stepped outside, Ms. Black was greeted with a giant, unified cheer of "Happy Birthday!"

It was a beautiful moment that shows the caring community we have at Harrison Schools. Thank you for everything you do, Ms. Black! We appreciate you!

Mrs. Davis's third-grade class at Forest Heights recently completed an inspiring art project titled "My Future Is So Bright."

The assignment was simple: the students drew their faces wearing sunglasses, and then filled the sugnlass lenses with reflections of their future selves - their aspirations, goals, and ideas for their future.

Their reflections are bursting with possibilities, showing future mechanics, writers, artists, photographers, veterinarians, doctors, teachers, childcare providers, chefs, and more. Great job, students!
